George Whitfield is a serial entrepreneur with 3 degrees from MIT and a passion for transforming businesses with technology that empowers conversational understanding and insight at large-scale. As Co-Founder and CEO of FindOurView, George leads the commercialization of their Review Insight Platform, a tool that helps digital publishers write more engaging commerce content by distilling relatable experiences from high volumes of consumer reviews. George worked in innovation-driven companies for the past 15 years and prior to FindOurView led software teams at Nucleus Scientific Inc for 7 years as the company grew 10x in size. George received multiple awards for innovation, education, and entrepreneurship while studying in the PhD program at MIT and is the author of 4 issued and 3 pending patents related to novel software control technologies.
Walter A. Haas III is the founder of GIST, an e-commerce startup currently under development in San Francisco, California. He has held several marketing positions, including Head of Marketing with Enjoy Technology, a Silicon Valley based company focused on retail and on-demand logistics. Walter worked in the global marketing group at Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco where he led the development of Cannes-awarded online media campaigns. He started his professional career as a producer of virtual reality training programs for the US Army and Raytheon. Walter is a founding Board Member of Populace, a company that works to harness the power of human individuality to transform how people learn, work and live. He is also a volunteer and ad hoc member of the Communications Committee with Coaching Corps, a longtime Haas, Jr. Fund partner and grantee. Walter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard . He lives in San Francisco.
Lynda Mann is the SVP of Commerce at Digital Trends Media Group (DTMG) where she leads content and business teams to drive growth through commerce. In her first year at DTMG she grew commerce revenue by 74% YOY and 162% the year following. She was FOLIO’s Top Women in Media 2020 Catalyst Award recipient. Previously, Lynda led the commerce/business development team at Wirecutter before acquisition to the New York Times. She lives in Seattle.
